The YSA and the ÖH Med Wien postgrad invite you to learn about the postgradual opportunities the Medical University of Vienna has to offer for young scientists.
What is offerd, which requirements are needed, how to subscribe and proceed as well as things to consider during your doctoral studies will be discussed.
The director of the doctoral programs Stefan Böhm [and Martin Janku from the Office for Student Affairs] will give an overview of the doctoral programs offered and how to apply (n094, Doctor of Philosophy; n790, Doctoral Program of Applied Medical Science).
Wilfried Ellmeier, coordinator of the „Immunology“ program will give deeper insights to the basic science orientated n094 program.
Peter Pietschmann, coordinator of the n790 program „Regeneration of Bones and Joints“ will talk about the more clinical orientated doctoral program and its demandings.
Patricia Wadowski and Marcus Raudner will present the MDPhD program and how to manage it.
PhD veteran Katharina Lampichler will close with a résumé about her experiences during her PhD studies.
